The Mill House Inn public
house is currently closed.
The Mill House Inn is situated just off the main
square in Crook Village. Crook (commonly known as
Crook Market Town) is a small market town in County
Durham, England. It is situated about 10 miles (16
km) south-west of Durham. Crook lies a couple of
miles north of the River Wear, on the A690 from
Durham. This turns into the A689 leading up into the
scenic upper reaches of Weardale, through Wolsingham
and Stanhope. Crook is the administrative centre of
the Wear Valley District Council.
The property is a split level one room site. There
is a small beer garden to the front entry.
Historically the pub has drawn its trade from
offering live music groups on weekend nights. The
décor within the property is of good quality;
however a little work may be required on the private
accommodation.
The private accommodation consists of two bedrooms,
lounge, kitchen and a bathroom.
